StaticCart v2.1 released -
The long awaited v2.1 has been released as the
next commercial version today. New features include an optional database
back-end, user input of coupon code in either advanced encrypted
javascript or database supported, along with a password protected admin
control panel. Other changes include a 3-tier tax system, database
builder, an optional custom pop up window to replace the standard
javascript pop up alert box and more user configurable options. JRSservices was the lead developer of StaticCart V2.1

New Web site design -
JRSservices unveiled its new Web Site design today.
"We have been busy with client's requests, and have taken longer than anticipated to get our own re-designed web site up and running." said President Randy Creighton. "The
services we offer are available world wide through computer technology and
communication, and it seems that work on our own site always gets bumped down on the list of priorities. It is fitting that we launch the new site on my father's birthday." Creighton said.

StaticCart v2.0 private release -
Version 2.0 was released to select individuals and companies for live evaluation and promotion. Most of the new features are enabled but still several minor changes have yet to be completed. This version will not be made available to the general public, so the next commercial upgrade shall be v2.1 from v1.2.1.

JRSservices partners with KFL Design. -
"Our partnership with JRSservices further expands the vast resources available to us and increases our knowledge of small business requirements," said Carl Lane of KFL Design.

President of JRSservices honoured second year in a row -
Randy Creighton was again honored as Citizen of Exceptional Achievement for 2004, by members of City Council and presented a key to the City by the Mayor of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Randy's devotion to the community and numerous civic activities were again recognized and rewarded.

Bundled along with StaticStore is StaticCart, the most "search engine friendly" and "user friendly" shopping cart available in the market today.

KFL Design begins ground-up rewrite of KustomKart -
KFL Design sits down with JRSservices, its lead developer, to coordinate plans to re-write KustomKart from an in-house E-commerce solution to a end-user-friendly shopping cart system to be known as StaticCart. Along with web-based configuration, the client requires numerous features including the ability for multiple tax rates for non US merchants, a JRSservices initiative.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the national Canadian radio and television network broadcaster, awarded JRSservices a bonus contract to repair their broadcast facilities in New York City.

JRSservices gets Satellite Contract -
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the national Canadian radio and television network broadcaster, has contracted JRSservices to renew their Satellite communications network in Canada's Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
The contract will entail flying to northern communities and repairing/replacing their broadcast installations.
